I have spent most of my life as a foreigner. I was born in The Gambia to British parents and spent the first 11 years of my life in Africa. I spent my school and university years in the United Kingdom then travelled in Australia for one year and worked in Japan for four years. There I met my husband and we have lived in the United States since 2001. We currently live in Denver with our 12 year-old daughter.
